Consecrated life, more than ever today, is called to become a fire that ignites other fires and “lights up the hearts” (Benedict XVI). Religious leadership is called to fervor, intensity of prayer, evangelical and prophetic authenticity, propelled by the passion for God’s reign.
We need to speak boldly about Christ and the gospel and do it with joyful lives, engaging the world” (EG). It is our desire to strive to please God always by following Jesus the poor in a disposition of Mary, the disciple. To cultivate a culture of witness is to develop a way of life configured to the Story of Jesus pointing to the Reign of God.
As women religious we all share the mission of leadership, to take active role in leading a life of missionary discipleship. Each one is her own agent of leadership formation. leadership is not a position but a mindset.
